Actor Cameron Boyce, known for his roles in the Disney Channel franchise “Descendants” and the TV show “Jessie,” has died. He was just 20 years old.
Boyce’s death confirmed by his family Saturday night.
The cause of death announced as due to “an ongoing medical condition.”
“He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated.
The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him.
Boyce made his acting debut in :
- “Grown Ups”
He was set to appear as a series regular in HBO’s new show :
- “Mrs. Fletcher,”
- “American Satan”
- “Paradise City”
In recent years he had gone to considerable efforts to support various charities.
Last year he honored with the Pioneering Spirit Award at the Thirst Gala, after raising $30,000 to help build wells for clean drinking water in Swaziland.
Boyce was born and raised in Los Angeles, and was dubbed an old soul by those who knew him, according to Disney Channels’ biography of him.
